Thought I'd better udate everyone on what's been happening lately. Can't say we've done anything exciting lately. Quartzsite is finally starting to get busy but still not a busy as in the past. All of the flea markets are in full swing now and the big tent is up. The RV show in the tent doesn't start for another week though.
Our Craft Club finally started putting our raffle quilt together. We laid it out on the floor in the tent to see what it will look like and it will be spectacular when we get it all sewn together! We started selling raffle tickets and sold over $100.00 worth the first day!
The weather is finally starting to improve although it's still awfully cold first thing in the morning. Even frost some mornings. By afternoon, it's usually quit nice.
Since the weather has been getting better, we decided to go for a bike ride. Headed out at 9 in the morning and nearly froze our fingers off!!! It quickly warmed up though and by noon we were removing layers of clothes! By late afternoon, we were putting the layers back on! It was a good ride although the trails are really rough this year. I guess because of the rain storms they had last summer. We went about 120 miles and by the time we showered & relaxed in our chairs last night it felt more like 200 miles!!
